If you know my husband and I at all, you know that we love all kinds of furniture. His Grandma's couch sits in our basement similar to the one above. We're hoping to save up the $ to reupholster it this summer. Now, the credenza ~ hmmm....I think there's one in my mother-in-law's basement. I think I shall go basement diving and see what I can cook up. What started like this (below) can have new life in my home in 2011~

What do you think about this corner of the home decor world? Do you like it? Would you incorporate it at all into your home?
I'm not the biggest fan of the couches, I need some cushy for my tushy ;) But I've always LOVED the sideboards and dressers. That first sideboard pic you have *SWOON*
ReplyDeleteMaybe a little- but not completely. I like warm and cozy, and PLUSHY! I agree with Kristy- I do like the sideboards and dressers, I love beautiful wooden furniture :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, in small amounts for practicality (is that a word?) however, I'm trying to talk my hubby into letting me decorate our living room using these pieces and just going for it for the summer. Then switch it out in the winter. That's really crazy isn't it!? I guess that's what you get when you combine a small house, a supportive husband and hand me down furniture. ;)
ReplyDeleteOH! that would be so much fun! We can't even rearrange our furniture in our living room, so we've been craving a change! That's a great idea :)
