Friends ~ nothin’ like ‘em

I just got off of the phone with one of my best friends. We met in college and have been friends ever since. We don’t get to see each other as often as we’d like, but we know we’re always there for each other. I decided to write a little post on friendships and then began searching for a picture of friends on my computer. Since my computer was stolen a few years ago, I have a limited record of things. My wedding pictures from nearly 5 years ago were on cds so I was able to still have those. Looking at this photo just made me smile. How a bride’s wedding day can represent so many relationships, including friends. What a day when all of your closest friends put aside their preferences and time to make the day all about you. I want to be that kind of friend.
