I want to share with you two of my favorite photo programs right now.
PicMonkey
The guys from Picnik went out and started PicMonkey after Google bought Picnik and threw it into their Google +. I looked around and contemplated the large photo programs before I found this. Now I’m hooked. I like PicMonkey better than Picnik. They have a lot of options similar to Instagram (you may have hard of the former iPhone only app that was just bought for a lot of dough by Facebook? Yeah, I’m on there under geekyandsassy.)
If you’ve never edited your photos before, this is a simple program. You just click and play with things and only hit the “apply” button when you want that certain thing on your picture. They have a lot of filters and some different textures to add.
Collages are coming soon. I’m glad because that’s how I make my headers and different buttons around this blog.

Just checked out Picmonkey…it is awsome!! Thanks for sharing, as I had just discovered Picnik, and now they are closing…I am going to have a lot of fun with this!

I really like PicMonkey - I was a huge fan of Picnic too. Another good free program (but this one you have to download) is Gimpshop - for those Photoshop lovers out there, like myself.

I was so sad when Picnic closed. I have Photoshop Elements but i always mess things up in there. I haven’t gotten it down. I’ll have to try Picmonkey. I saw it on Twitter and have been meaning to try it out.
Yes, it’s pretty simple like Picnik. I’m going to try Gimpshop like Tanya suggested too.
I found PicMonkey about a weel and a half ago, and I’ve been using it for everything! I really love it, but I’m sad to see see Picnik go.
