I’m really excited to share with you today’s book. How many times have you heard people talk about how difficult it is to find things for boys ages 6-10? When this came to my door a few weeks ago I flipped through and read some lessons out loud. It’s one of those books that you can’t help but talk in a game show voice.
Reading through it I thought of my good friend and her son. Alex loves to read and is artistic. What better way to show you how I’m not just making this up than to have them review it.
Too anxious to hear, I texted questions to them to find out how he liked it. She quickly texted back,
“He loves it….for one, he loves to draw and thinks it’s cool to write in a book.”
A few days later I heard more,
“Alex is really enjoying this, and he even brought it to school for show n tell!”
Comics, sketch art and Biblical Truths combine to keep the attention of the kids. The lessons are reviewed with a fun challenge to draw and doodle. Here’s Alex’s drawing of God creating light….
