Energetic,
Full of Joy….
These are words to describe my daughter. Moving constantly she listens to books as she sways back and forth, or taps her feet. With the My Christmas Storybook Bible it was different. This book geared for 2-6 year olds brought a sweet change.
She sat still.
Enthralled.
Taking in every word.
Each page brings a short story, poem, song, prayer or verse. The endearing pictures are attractive to my 4 year old daughter and the songs tested my not-so-sweet vocal skills.
I read through the book with her and she immediately asked for an encore. Twice through she had me pointing out the words to the songs and I was full of joy. It’s funny how God speaks through our hearts in even the simplest books. My heart felt encouraged in the beauty and awe of Jesus’ birth.
My energetic pre-schooler loves books, but this one she adored.
As this Christmas season approaches I am leaving this book in our living room to grab for a verse or song and to remind my kids what the real reason is for this holiday, to celebrate Jesus Christ’s birth!

My favorite Christmas song is Silent Night. In 2nd grade, my class sang and signed this song at a Christmas concert…since then, i’ve always liked this song

Wow, I feel very blessed. I have a friend who is expecting her first baby on December 25th this year. I was invited to her baby shower and didn’t feel like I could go since we don’t really have extra money for a gift right now. This book will be for her and the new baby. Thank you.

My absolute favorite Christmas song is O Holy Night. If I hear or sing it I can’t really pay attention to the words or I will cry (I’m a sap!)- its just beautiful. Many blessings to you and your family this Christmas season!
