Behind The Scenes of My Sweet, Tender Moment….

This sweet, tender moment I caught today with my phone.

One minute later I caught these as well….

Isn’t that how life goes sometimes! It’s what we do with those moments that makes an impact. Do I flip out, yell and “go all mom” on the discipline? Do I take a moment to explain to them how to resolve conflict, how they are brother and sister for life and will love each other one minute and fight the next. Will I take the time of a sigh to describe how kindness should be first, and to put others first?

Oh I wish I did the the latter of these. I didn’t do much of anything. Thankfully I didn’t yell, (yes, this former Children’s Director has raised her voice), but I did snap. ”Be careful!”

More worried about the guitar than the kids’ life lesson. & getting the funny pictures.

Ugh….

(puts head in hands and hangs head in embarassment).

But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” ~ James 4:6

What have you been up to this week? Any funny moments you can share?

Stick around, I’m going to be sharing my “dirty hair” tricks this week! I’m documenting day 4 unwashed right now (and no, it’s not gross!)

Oh, I want those hair tips. AND I think your children are beautiful. AND I know you are a wonderful mother!

Those pics are wonderful, hilarious and so cute! One thing I need to work on when my boys get into tiffs is patience! I tend to yell a little too much and then later feel horrible about it :( I HAVE to work on it.

But this week has been good so far. Moved Tristan to a toddler bed and it was way too simple (if only potty training was that easy!).

    P.S.
Can’t wait for the hair tip!

Those pictures are priceless! And I’m with you on the discipline thing - I too often do it the wrong way!
