Sunday was a restful, rainy day. I hope you had a great weekend and begin this week with energy and joy as we live this life!
Those of you that are part of the Illuminate Challenge, I will be posting on Wednesdays of each week about what I’m learning (or guests posts from some of you!) Let me know if you would like to share what God is teaching you through the challenge! Blogger or not.

Favorite place to buy:
I would have to say that at least right now my favorite place to buy things is between Craigslist (we’ve had lots of good luck with it in the past and are looking at some things on there right now) and garage sales - it IS garage sale season around here after all, and I was blessed so much recently in getting a really great update for my wardrobe with a huge bag full of like-new brand name things for only $17.50 - probably what ONE of the items would have cost new on sale!
A Favorite Post ~ Thoughts
Favorite place to buy: This is a really hard one because it depends on what I’m buying… and if I can actually afford my favorite places haha. My absolute all time favorite place to buy clothes for 5ohBaby is janieandjack.com She only actually owns 3 things from that store, since it is a little (ok a lot!) pricey, but I absolutely adore them!
(You may recognize her since she has written guest post here. We even got to meet this winter when she and her husband came to my town for a wedding. It was lovely and she’s genuinely kind and sweet!)
Dot in the City started as an outlet for me to write about the things I do and is often about making our 90 year old house into a home. I share real-life renovation stories, recipes, re-purpose on purpose and more.
(this is a tough one) If I’m buying a gift or something meaningful it’s usually handmade (either by me or someone on Etsy), but if I need buy practical things like tp and printer paper I usually head to Target (their marketing gets me every time).
