Snapshots of Christmas

This month has brought healing, anxiety, peace and surprises. With all of the emotions and feelings flying around I clung to the birth of Jesus. The birth of our Savior, My Savior. The One who I would not make it through the day without. Reminders of His sacrifice for me greets me around every turn in my house. I wait until New Years Eve to take down the decorations.

Here are a few images of the past week….

& the Christmas Challenge was a success! I do have a Confession: My husband cheated by spending $4. (Enter sniffling noise and sigh here). $2.50 for the ring base at Jo-Ann’s and $1.50 at World Missions for the needlework pillow. He knows me so well! The ring he made (below) is made with a stone we found when I was pregnant with our daughter nearly 5 years ago. He gave me socks that he got from a rep at a buying show he went to this fall. My kids’ gifts were hand-me-downs from cousins and a few handmade items and trades in there.

When do you take your Christmas decorations down?
