It is my desire for Geeky & Sassy to be a place of faith, growth, encouragement, and fun. Two years ago I would never have imagined that I would have shared so much with you around the world. Through these years God has woven His Truths through the words {Read More}

Snapshots of Christmas

IMG_3925

This month has brought healing, anxiety, peace and surprises. With all of the emotions and feelings flying around I clung to the birth of Jesus. The birth of our Savior, My Savior. The One who I would not make it through the day without. Reminders of His sacrifice for me greets me around every turn in my house. I wait until New Years Eve to take down the decorations. Here are a few images of the past week…. & the {Read More}

How to rock dirty hair

This post was scheduled for last week, but in light of Connecticut I post-poned. I feel like any post following that tragedy is too soon, but know that I am still praying and do not take it lightly. As I sit in the coffee shop two teenagers sit down near me and the first thing I hear is a question, “Does my hair look greasy?” (I promise it’s not my hair that brought that question to mind. It has been {Read More}

Silence and Prayer

I have been absent after post-poning my post for Friday. I wanted to take time to let us all rest and mourn after the loss of so many innocent on Friday. God, I pray for peace and healing for all affected families and friends in Newtown, and for our nation. With an aching heart and many tears, I leave today with a hug and some verses…. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give {Read More}

Behind The Scenes of My Sweet, Tender Moment….

Do I take a moment to explain to them how to resolve conflict, how they are brother and sister for life and will love each other one minute and fight the next. Will {Read More}
