I’m a bit behind in starting Nehemiah for this month’s Illuminate Challenge. I read chapter 1 today and it made me compare myself to Nehemiah being in a “comfortable” place and hearing of what is happening in another part of the world to God’s people broke his heart. We’re going through a series at church loosely based off of the book Weird by Craig Groeschel. This week we talked about the story of Jacob and Esau in Genesis.
